OK, I think I figured out why we're having all this 'wonderful' weather this winter.
It has to be because Marcel has been bringing the weather down here from CT with him when he visits his new place.

Submitted as evidence, (I haven't seen this much snow here since I relocated here in '99...)

LOL...:D. You can't blame it on me, I haven't been there since Thanksgiving! Blame it on the pole shift...

Are you kidding me, I'm trying to get away from that stuff. I'm beginning to think that all you Tennesseans were lying to me when you said the winters were relatively mild. I was gonna sell my snowblower before I left CT, maybe I should keep it!
We got about 18" of that crap on the ground over here, and it's been uncharacteristically cold here too. When I get down there , I think I'll open up a snow driving education school to teach you guys how we handle it up north.:p I think you need some doors on that jeep for snow season.

On another note: I just had a couple of my buddies over, experienced professional movers, we were discussing the logistics of the move and working out a game plan. I'm so looking forward to getting the heck outta here.

KEEP the snowblower! I *hate* shoveling snow, had too many friends and acquiescences suffer hearts attacks and such when I lived up north.
It's the worst type of material for man or machine to move. A blower would have been handy the last couple of storms.
I had to use a beat up ol' skid steer a friend keeps here at my place and it was just a bit unwieldy for the task at hand.

The Jeep® needs a u-joint replaced in the front hub before it gets put into 4WD. That and a heater upgrade/mod is keeping it a fair-weather
vehicle for now. Thankfully I have a Silverado 2500 4X4 that I bought in Chicago before I moved down here.

Dan. I didn't realize you were originally from Chicago when I was talking smack about not being able to drive in the snow...lol. My future neighbor in TN sent me a photo of my property from over the weekend. It looks like all the snow already melted away, is that the case?

I still think I'm gonna sell the snow blower. I need an excuse to buy a small tractor bucket loader with a back hoe.:D Snow blowers don't really work that good for that heavy wet snow. Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it:p

Practically all gone. 47°F @ Noon.
Small tractor, oh yeah. Get a blade for the snow, bucket loading is a pain with snow.
You'll also need a Bush hog, a box scrapper, a Post hole auger, Boom Hoist, Forks, weights.....
And of course it would have to be 4WD... (there goes the budget ... :) )

Middle.Road: Don't feel bad about the paint job. I'm sure that it turns heads. My Jeep doesn't get out from the protection of the garage until spring.
