I'm being reminded that I have not posted in a while, sorry about that.
I have not finished any new projects, but I have a few old projects that I have done. (photos attached)
In the first photo (left to right in background) are a steady rest, follow rest and face plate I have made. The follow rest and steady rest were fabricated from 1 1/2" plate. The face plate is made from a engine fly wheel. In the foreground, are lathe slotting attachment, grinding wheel balancer, a set of change gears and a chuck stop.
In the second photo is a wooden cradle that I use to install and remove the vertical head attachment from my horizontal mill. The head to hard to line up with the drive spindle due to fact that it has no handles and it's weight. Now all I have to do is set the cradle with the head inside on the mill table and crank it up to the correct height, much easier.

I've seen follow rest like that before, But never figured what kind of lathe they fit.

Anyway nice job on those.

All your projects are well done but I especially like the fly wheel made into a face plate. Why didn't I think of that?
