association between PM and LMS?

Why are these two grouped together in this forum? Do they share something in common? I've been curious as to how certain brands get grouped together here.
 
There's no business association between the companies; however, they are very responsive to hobbyist needs. Not sure why they are grouped together other than they are good resources for this group.

Any body know anything else? I understand why craftsman would be grouped with the company that actually made their lathes. Beyond that I'm at a loss and very curious.
 
I Own Precision Matthews, and there is absolutely no relation, other than what Ray C Said. Just a spot on the forum, and that is it. Kind of like Monarch and Standard Modern. Not related at all, just a way to group them together I guess. I do not know who owns LMS, but I have also heard that they give good service to their customers.
