DRO on solid column LMS mill

Has anyone here put a DRO on the little LMS mill? If so, what type (glass, magnetic, rack-and-pinion, etc.)?

I had a shooting star years ago on a similar mill, but was wondering if anything else would fit?

Well, it isn't pretty, as I was in such a hurry I had to make do with what scrap I had laying around. I will be re-doing some of these brackets for the readers.

The dro is a DRO Pros that I got from LMS. The brackets that came with it are pretty much worthless for such a small machine. And given my cramped shop conditions, I actually had to locate the readout on a shelf for now.
