Grizzly T10895 DRO Upgrade.

I have a Grizzly G0619 that I have had for a few years now. It's great for what I do in my garage and my only gripe is that I want to get a Zaxis power feed. But that is for another topic.
The DRO that I have on this thing also has been great, small and accurate and was actually pretty easy to install. It's a T10895 if you want to look it up on Grizzly.com However, it doesn't do anything other than measure in Metric or Imp. No functions and I am now starting to see and want the functions of a real 3 axis DRO.
So the question is, are there any DROs that can use the existing scales that I have installed on my mill now? Or am I going to have to go and install new scales etc?

He's a forum sponsor and can set you up with a full function DRO that will probably work with your scales. You may have to solder some connectors, but he'll walk you through what you need.

How are the DRO cables attached to the DRO? Are they USB or a 9pin?
