I rescued this one from going to the scrap yard about a year ago. I couldn't believe it was going to be scraped. It did not have a cross slide and tailstock when I got it, but found a good deal on both. I got it in the shop, connected it to power and it ran sweet, bearings were quite and motor ran very good. I cleaned it and sprayed a little paint on it. Sweet running machine! I think it was made in the mid 1940s. What a great piece of American craftsmanship.

Awesome machine, drool drool, sorry please wipe the extra drool off it for me.

That is a caliber of machine that i have never seen in these parts. Lathes are rare, I know there are a few dozen around, but most are much lower grades of machines.

Enjoy.
