Hello, I am a 3rd year apprentice fitter and turner and mainly use manual lathes. I have cut a fair few single start threads by now and I would like to start learning multistart threads now. I understand that you can index the starts using the compound slide, this would be my preferred method as our chaser dials at work are not reliable. So my question is where should I start? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
