This is the first 3 station self compensating fixture module. There will be various widths and apertures, some dedicated and some using inserts. The modules fix together with M8 socket cap head screws & located in both directions with crossed keys. The range will eventually have blank modules ready to machine to the client spec. I'll post more images as I go along.
The hex top parts will be clamped using the single grub screw on the face which will be torqued to 20Nm and the parts tested with a torque wrench and socket to see when they move. I'll make a video of the test.
This is a 100mm square module, I have some part made 50mm 2 station modules with different size apertures. All types will accept broad toleranced parts & will still clamp parts within a 0.25mm - 0.010" range with the single screw. All the modules are the same depth and an infinite number can be clamped together.

Looking forward to a video test. They are cool looking blocks but I’m sad to say I have not a clue what they are for.

The blocks are held in a vice or clamped to the bed on a milling machine. The blocks then clamp the 3 pieces ready to machine.
