I've posted this elsewhere but thought I'd make a record here since this forum has a lot of VN owners. My VN came out of government storage and seems to be in good shape. I still need to buy or make a spindle key and replace the motor bearings (just to be safe due to "old" grease that's probably not effective now.). The original motor is 110v, which is kind of nice.

Thanks guys. I'm going to follow Cal's advice (posted elsewhere on this forum) regarding what to inspect before I start using her. I've got a BP clone too. Will be interesting to compare at some point. I know the VN is MUCH more rigid.

IIRC, Repair Parts International (RPI) has them for around $20. You can make one from a Woodruff key as well.
