Is anybody interested in showing off some targets?
Rifle, handgun, shotgun patterns, pellet guns, etc... anything goes! Tight groupings aren't necessary, as long as you are proud of your groups. Any range... 10 meters to infinity...
I'm mostly a shotgunner... but I play around with all of the above from time to time.
This is a target that I shot with a 22-250... it is a custom build on a Howa 1500 action.
That is 5 shots at 50 yards with 52 gr Sierra Match Kings.
This was a group I shot with an old Interarms 30.06 back when I was playing around with some 160 gr cast lead bullets...
That is 5 shots at 25 yards... I ultimately managed to get the lead bullets grouping around .750" at 100 yards.
The next two are groups that I shot with an old Remington 788 chambered in .44 Magnum...
5 shots at 25 yards...
And 5 shots at 50 yards...
The old .44 is amazing... it will destroy soda cans at 250 yards with almost boring regularity with Hornady XTP bullets... at that range, the bullet has dropped somewhere around 5 feet, IIRC.
Anybody else?
