This post serves two purposes: 1) as a notice to members that staff is cleaning up over five years of the Site Issue support forum and 2) offering additional ways to get help on your site technical issue. This is a work in progress and there is no defined end date as to when this work will be "complete". The objective here is that members learn and make better use of the features of the forum software and are able to solve their own technical problems - since most solutions are simply about awareness.
Clean-Up Effort.
All posts from prior years will be moved to the Site Issue Archive. Past support tickets and solutions will be sorted into sub-forums by problem type. For example:
Editing Posts
Attaching Files and Images
Using the Search Feature
Upgrading your Account
Trouble Downloading File
...are a few examples of problem types that we have provided support on over the years. We will move all relevant posts into said sub-forums so as to try to help you find previously solutions to known problems. Please note that redundant or less than helpful posts may be deleted from the forum as part of the cleanup effort.
Additional Methods to Get Help
A new feature on our site is the ability to upvote answers to questions posed on the site. To that end, it is highly recommended that you toggle the "Question" feature on your support ticket when you draft your question. This will allow for other members to upvote answers and YOU get to decide which answer is the best solution to a problem. The reason this is important is that members help each other out on the forum alongside staff and moderators - so you are likely to get many people to chime in to try and help you out. By allowing for upvoting, we can work together to help members pinpoint solutions to future problems. To make your questions "up-votable", just click question in the edit menu before you post.
To upvote an answer you will see voting answers on the right side of the post.
In summary, if you need help, search the archives by problem type first. If you can't find your answer there, then post a question and you are sure to get some answers from staff and other helpful members. And don't forget to upvote!
