Been feeling good lately post 3 months hip replacement. Was rocking n rolling on parts for some tools I have been needing to make. One part 18" long 1"dia handle. Was going to chuck it in the collet block to put wrench flats on it. Put the part in the collet, tighten the vise, then load and admire the new 1/2 carbide 3 flute endmill I bought. Touch off and then set my depth to make the cut... part slid out the collet and rotated breaking the brand new endmill. I look at the collet wrench laying on the toolbox then realized I made a rookie mistake and didn't tighten the collet. Next day I finished the part but left the teeth marks as a reminder that I'm not as good as sometimes I think I am.
