So i have huanyang vfd 110 input too 3 phase output. I am using older dayton 3hp 3 phase motor. I can get the motor to run but cannot control it with onboard vfd knob only up and down arrows. Also when i hit the run button on the vfd it just starts up to full pulley rpm. No incresse in button or knob. Does anyone have instructions or have delt with these issues and can walk me through it if something is programmed wrong or what. Much appreciated ahead of time have a great weekend.

Had one of them also. Would not stay programmed. Was quickly returned. Maybe You got mine.

That looks like the one that came on my mill. I didn't program it, but here are the parameters that were used.

Wire
R & S = Input 220 single Phase
UVW = Output 3 Phase
PE = Ground

Factory Reset:
P0.17 = 1 (factory reset)
P0.17 =2 (clear fault code)

60 Hertz
P0.03 = 60
P0.04 = 60
P0.06 = 60
P2.02 = 60

Enable Freq via Knob
P0.07 = 1

Enable Rev via Job Botton
P7.03 = 2

Ramp Up / Down
P0.11 = 5 (sec Acceleration)
P0.12 = 5 (sec Deceleration)

Auto tune and motor parameters:
P2.01 motor rated power
P2.02 motor rated frequency
P2.03 motor rated speed
P2.04 motor rated voltage
P2.05 motor rated current;

South Bend
P2.01 = 0.7 ( 1HP = 0.73KW)
P2.02 = 60
P2.03 = 1710
P2.04 = 220
P2.05= 3.8

Start Tune
P0.16 = 1

Dunno if it's anything like my KB brand VFDs, but there's a parameter you have to change to enable the pot for speed control. Why didn't they make that the default? Who knows! But outta the box, the pot does nothing until you enable it in the firmware. This may or may not be the problem with yours.

Not suggesting you trash this one and buy American next time, but readable instruction manuals is one of the advantages of something like a KB. At least for now, until the Chinese learn how to do it. Shouldn't be too hard, just hire a native English speaker who's also fluent in technical documentation. They wouldn't even have to move to China, the internet makes physical location irrelevant. Surprised they haven't figured this out yet.

Have you scoured youtube for How-To videos yet? With more popular models, there's usually someone eager to help with a vid, though some of those people get it wrong...

EDIT: whoops @piper184 just gave the answer you need, while I was typing up my useless answer. Never mind!!
