Finally install the spring on the brake shoe cam end of the assembly.

This is the stationary vari-disc pulley. Showing the brake bearing cap still installed with my old bearing. It's a cheap bearing...replace it now.
Last spring installed on the brake shoe assembly.
Finally install the spring on the brake shoe cam end of the assembly.
Brake shoe spring installed. Make sure the hooks of the springs are really pushed in. I had to use a small screw driver to get them in.
Install the spring that holds the brake shoes together around the pivot bolt. I suggest eye protection. This little things like to fly away.
Push the brake shoes into place like so.
