I made a replacement front sight base and blade for my Crosman 2300T air pistol, using my Big Dog (Real Bull) 7x14 lathe and Grizzly G8689 mill.

The blade is held in the slot with a Loctite brand rubber-filled cyanoacrylate glue.

It's not quite finished. I need to run out tonight and by a set screw assortment then drill and tap a hole for one in the bottom of the base, then blacken the sight blade.

A bit lengthy video of a column mounted pulley speed change for my 1930's atlas lathe. I didn't do it today, but what the heck. Here it is. Skip to about the 5 minute mark to get to just the pulley part.
