Resolved Please change file attachment restrictions to allow .scad files

.scad files are used by OpenSCAD, a parametric mechanical CAD program. If .DXF files are allowed, why not .scad?

I was able to upload the file that was posted here as a test attachment. See if you can access this.

I'm not sure what is going on here. I updated the allowed file extensions for attachments in forums and for downloads. I used fcstd as the extension name. I was also able to download the wobblyhand file he attached here, then upload it to resources in the staff downloads. I'm going to upload to member area and retest. Hold on.

I think I found the problem (setting), but for the life of me, I'm not sure why it is making a difference at all. I have to put up a question to the dev while I'm searching through their users guide to try and find the answer.

I was able to access that without getting an error, just the word “test” with no additional attachment.
I’m on an ipad so can’t retry uploading to the downloads area until tomorrow when ai’m back at the computer.
