This is what I had to start with on the 1" arbor nut. And is why this took so long. This is fairly typical of most of the Atlas drawings on parts for the mill. Some are somewhat better. A few have been worse (for some reason, most of the lathe drawings are only about half as bad).
But this is why I decided to only do the 1/2" wide arbor spacers for the 7/8" and 1" arbor. They were the cleanest pair and the rest of the spacers are exactly the same in all respects except width. None are shown as having a keyway. The other widths are:

3/4"
1"
2"
