Drilling 1/4" mild steel with a 5/16' Cobalt bit on my mill. 1,100 rpms. Using cutting oil. Getting these really tightly wound continuous chips as well as some more normal ones. Seems like the hole is good and the drill bit looks pristine afterwards. Any ideas about speeds/feeds and whether this...
