John, I considered making a cutter, and still might someday, but a pair of scissors is about 2 feet away from where it resides in the kitchen.
 
Rewired the power cord to my vintage stick welder. Please see my thread for specifics

Waiting to see what Snap On comes up with for a warranty solution.
Might have to convert to ball-bearing like the bottom drawer....

My snap on guy replaced parts on my tool box for damage my son caused when he put my car in gear during a test and we smashed into it, nearly causing it to go through the wall lol
 
Snap-on is replacing the slides, 5 drawers at a time, plus the ball bearing slides that came apart all under warranty, but the drawer is no longer available. Trying to see if the slide mount can be found, otherwise it will be a ball bearing conversion. My rep said he'd get me the bb slides at least as a warranty / courtesy. I just had to buy the new lockset. Not too bad, $50. To replace my lost and broken locks, all the rest no charge.
