We received the new chain and finally got the lighting project finished so playtime again.
Realizing ww would be removing the clock movement from the frame we would need to store it somehow.
We made a stupid simple stand from some scrap that worked as planned.
The base is a cover from something that has a rubber gasket attached so perfect base.
The arms are 8-32 all thread we found in the screw bin.
Clock comes off and slides on the "rails" formed by the all thread and the threads keeps it from sliding off.
The rails fit through the mounting holes
Ww cleaned and oiled the main spring and replaced the chain.
Was a little tricky to get the small spring hooked but we got it back together.
Just released the pendulum to start it and it was about 340 degrees but slowly gaining and after about 30 minutes it was about 360 so we will see what it is tomorrow.
Sorry we did not have camera handy when we were working on it but will take some on next one
