Base for Pipe Bender

Might consider mounting it horizontal, would work better for longer stock....

I have the same type of pipe bender. I haven't mounted it to any kind of base. Mostly because I don't use it that much. I found a spot to hang it from my stock rack. When I need to use it I just clamp it to my bench. I might just make a bottom bracket for it so I can clamp it in my vise. I made a bottom bracket for my paint shaker to clamp in the vise when I need it. Sometimes it doesn't make sense to have a stand alone tool.

Make a simple base plate with a piece of receiver tubing out the back, and use your bumper hitch. Gives you lots of room to work around it, without always taking up floor space. You can keep it on a shelf instead.

Or make a pedestal so you can re-use it when you get a JD2 equivalent!

Thanks. I was looking t my roll around motor stand that is taken apart right now. A piece of 3 inch conduit in the hole on the motor stand might work, and I can take it down when not using. I like the receiver hitch deal as well. It is supposed to have aplate on the cylinder rod and a place to mount retraction springs, but not seeing this.
