Clausing 5904 carriage power feed not working

Update
I called Clausing service this morning. (800) 535-6553. They are very helpful. I Gave them my S\N, they told me my lathe worm part number is 934-011. That worm has the nub, no internal key (we figured that out). He told me the nub will wear out over time and will leave the inside of the worm smooth (as mine is). Clausing has 93, 934-011 worms in stock minus one as of this morning. The cost is $223. I should get the new worm gear at the end of this week.

I got the new worm part 934-011 from Clausing today. You can see the internal key inside it is about an inch and a half long. The key is fixed inside the worm gear.
