The other day my tail stock clamp cracked, looked like it had been cracked for a while, never noticed it. So in the chat box someone had sugested to make a round one. So digging threw some stuff this morning I found a large washer with an indetion in it. Found another one from a tractor that fit but wasnt flush. So I cut it deeper and made everyting flush and ran my bolt up threw and was able to work today on my lathe.
Really want to thank the guys in the chat box for just suggesting to make one. Being VERRY green at this I cant always "see" a project to make or do. I know for most all of you this is basic, but I got to use my dial indcator in the set up and do some much needed learning of measuring.

Then my wife came down and looked at one of the dead centers I made and said it looked like one of my 3006 rifle rounds. It gave me an idea. The 3006 my oldest claimed and the 357 his brother claimed.

357 was shocked it really fit, still learning how to work the indcators and not take too much off!
