This is my first lathe, had it about 3 months and learning lots. No background machining - just watching youtube videos & reading to pick this up as a hobbyist. Lathe came with a steady rest but no follow rest. This is what I've fabricated from a cheap import steadrest. Cut off, fabricated a mounting bracket. Seems to work well!

Mods I have done to the 10L since buying it:
- Lots of cleanup, it was super dirty and needed lots of TLC. Replaced some of the wicks, going through it slowly over time.
- Added VFD & electrical box to supply the 3Ph power. Fabbed my own "control panel" with FWD/REV, JOG, Speed control, RPM & E-Stop
- DRO
- Replacement brass thumbscrew oil port covers where no interference - these were fun to make!
- Fab my own indicator mount for bed.
- Follow rest fabrication.

Appreciate this resource and learning lots.

Steve
