Does anyone know the type of screws that are used in Schaublin 13 milling machines?

Hi all,

I'm working on my Schaulin 13 mill and some of the screws broke off. I've been looking for hours on several sites that sell fasteners but I haven't been able to find them. Does anyone know what type of screws they are (DIN, ISO, something else?)

Hi Johan- If they are not standard metric then they may be non-standard sizes specific to Schaublin
Can you match up the thread pitches to anything? What about the major diameter?
Do you have a thread pitch gauge?

What size is the thread?
I've never seen a head like that before. This is where owning a lathe comes in handy.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your response. The thread is a plain M4x0,7. It is the head I'm unable to find.

I’ve seen similar but don’t remember the specifics. I ended up using a countersunk screw and grinding that edge of the head down to the size I needed.
