I'm going to challenge myself on this one. It's a small part, so, I'm not sure it really classifies as a real project. All though it is a project. I'm going to attempt to make this with a manual mill and a rotary table. I'm still working out the order of operation.

I admire your optimism. As drawn, it will definitely be a challenge.

Not sure if you have watched this video, but it gave so many ideas to handle something similar…

Looking forward to your updates

OOF.... That's gonna keep you busy for a while.

I think if that were me, and I needed a handle, that would be a three piece weldment. On the other hand, if that were me, and I needed a project.... I might try.... It looks like you've got it drawn up to the process, only arcs, no spiral sections like the original (probably cast part) would have had. That's a good start.

I haven't seen the video yet, I will watch it before I get started.

I'll look today and see if I the meteral to make the handle, I might have to order a piece of aluminum.

I do need to replace the handle, the old one is plastic with metal inserts. If I was in a hurry and really needed one I would 3D print one and do metal inserts.

It's more of a project and to challenge myself.

I got it completed, with only a couple of minor mistakes along the way. Here are a bunch of photos from the process. No big deal for you pros but for this beginner I feel pretty good about it.

Now I should make a new fancy handle. I should have labeled this thread "Drill Press Table Crank Arm".
