has anyone bought a 931 fluke tachometer recently? All the ones I found are from China, except one from Hong Kong. Yes, I know HK is now China, but habits (thoughts) are hard to break. Are they still as good as the original?

Any thoughts on other brands? I would prefer a QUALITY product (thus Fluke). Need a contact and non-contact sensors

Really if two or three RPM is meaningless them any of the cheap ones should work. Fluke is going to have the same rating as the others. You can always build your own also. If you have none of the parts it may cost $30-$50 depending on what you build it with. There is already code written that is open source.
