I decided to build a new luggage rack for my 42 harley, I wanted it to be easy to install and remove, I did not want to drill any holes in the fender. I fashioned it after the aftermarket racks that were vailable back in the forties IMG_1303_zps83971608.jpgIMG_1305_zps6f394ad0.jpgIMG_1308_zps67fe890a.jpgIMG_1311_zps7ae588b1.jpgIMG_1315_zpsa89ae141.jpg

Good job! Let's see more pics of the bike!

Very nice fab job brother. Looks like it came off a shelf. What ya use to bend that tube?

Thank you,I used a harbor freight bender,it's 7/16 cooled rolled not tube.I had to make a mandrel so the rack would sit above the fender just rightIMG_1325_zps9e497ceb.jpg

Nice job on the rack. If my wife didn't need a place to sit on my FLH I'd be "borrowing" your design.

That is one cool scoot and an awesome rack to go with it. Your shop looks a lot like mine....that's a good thing.
