My wife says that I need help.

all our wives think there is something wrong with us. They don't understand the tools, they smell the oil and think it stinks, we think it smells great... Another thing to add to the difference in the sexes.

No argument there, but we have to consider when enough is enough. Perfection is the enemy of good enough. I have made several QD lathe tools which fit the dovetails rather than bolt into generic tool holders. Quicker and more rigid.

"Perfection is the enemy of good enough." That sir, is gold! And so true.
