Yeah I'm also leery of such videos. Watched a YT one involving a forklift accident and didn't realize what I was in for. It went something like this:
1. They're moving a large flat sheet of thick steel across a work area with a forklift.
2. It was swinging slightly, and was just heavy enough to start to tip the forklift forward as the load swung the same direction.
3. Someone walking by, hoping to help, ran up from behind and went to jump on the rear of the forklift to pull it back down.
4. The load continued tipping the forklift forward, such that the rear of it ended up about 4 feet in the air.
5. The guy who'd just jumped on the rear lost his grip and, sort of like sliding into home base, slid under the forklift.
6. The load support straps slipped off the forks, and the forklift fell back down.
The guy was still under there, about 3" thick by then. Just about made me ill, and no, I won't provide a link. So, yeah, be careful, and when something is spinning out of control, sometimes it's best to Not try to help out.
