I have been into machining for two years now. I started with a 1925 SB 11' lathe and now have a 7' Atlas shaper, a benchtop Atlas horizontal mill, an old beater J head Bridgeport, a power hack saw, a Kalamazoo horizontal band saw, three drill presses, a Dake arbor press, and a heavy duty belt sander.
Along with all the machinery I picked a lot of accessories including two index heads a large rotary table, a horizontal attachment for the BP, a high end radius cutter, a wheel dresser for a surface grinder, and numerous measuring tool and hand tools. Thank you Craig's List.
I need help in toolgrinding, internal threading, BP operation and general machining. I would be willing to pay $15.00 an hour. I know that is a mere pittance for an experienced machinist but there may be some fringe benefits. (I own a winery.)
