I just tuned up the variable speed head on a Webb 2VH milling machine on my current job. I robbed the Kurt power drawbar off a B'port EZ Track that needs way too much work to leave it installed. If I shim the drawbar up to the needed height, I'm only threaded into the collet about 1/2". Is that enough engagement to last without stripping the threads?
I have a second Kurt drawbar, I could splice the two together to give the head length needed but, I'd like to avoid the additional work.
