Mr. Blue has completed his 3" Machinists Clamp Kit and as his "Hall of Fame " photo shows he has done an awesome job!
Mr. Blue was kind enough to share a few words about his experiences during the build.
"These clamps were easy to make, all materials were excellent and sufficient for the project.
All machining was done on a lathe with any milling or drilling done with a mill vice attachment for the cross slide, except for the side plates where a drill press was used.
An excellent kit and a pleasure to complete.
I have not applied any finish apart from waxing as these will be used and abused as they were designed for."
