It's not the best that's for sure. They may end up on a shelf. I did soften up all of the edges so it's not as bad as it first looks, but your right they are a little on the rough side.

Connecting rods without pistons might be a better choice for the drill press. Still pretty cool though.

Flaming Red repair on the piston handles, LOL. They are a lot easier on the hands now, they don't look quite as cool but they feel better. I showed my wife and told her it was a lot nicer on the hands she pretended she was playing the violin. LOL
