New to me Harig Super 618

I'm looking for a wheel adapter for my Harig 618 as it came with only one. I believe the taper is 3"/12". I found some on the Sopko website (not the best website I've seen) but they are very pricey. After some on-line searching I found some at H&H Industrial Products (HHIP.com) at a more reasonable price made in Taiwan. But they do not specify the taper other than, "This is used in cylinder of US standard grinding machine"

Does anyone know what US standard grinding machine taper is? I'm hoping these will fit the Harig 618.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Odds are, it is the correct taper, but I would contact them directly and confirm, before sending them any $$$ When I need wheel adaptors for my Super 618, I just watch eBay for some nice condition( and sometimes NIB ) genuine Sopko's, as I'm not a huge fan of knockoffs.

I also believe the the standard for small surface grinders is 3" TPF. I have bought all of mine off eBay. I took a look (Grinding Wheel Adaptor search) at more than 1000 listings with near zero of interest. I suggest you set a search and receive notifications of eBay listings that pop up. Pay attention to grinding wheels including hubs. With your proximity to Kansas City and Wichita, take a look for used machinery dealers.

Be aware that you will also need the spanner wrench and hub removal devise to get the hub off the spindle.

Below is a listing for a low cost hub that doesn't require a special spanner and comes with a removal devise. For the money, maybe it's worth checking out?

Also: always use a heavy paper bolster on each side of a grinding wheel so it is "cushioned" from the hub flanges.

Thanks for the advice, guys, I'm definitely going to take a good look at the ebay listing above.

The OD of the wheel hubs should be 2-7/16" for a Harig.

Only important in the fact that is how they came from Harig. My assumption would be a little more support for a 7" wheel.

Hubs are available in numerous ODs depending on what is being mounted. I like to use larger OD hubs on thinner wheels.
