Totally new to lathes ... Have a clausing 1236 step pulley.. Would be nice to have a little first person turning / cutting / finishing / tool bit angle "in use" / etc help...

Online watching videos just isnt the same as hands on..

FYI: I know we are in a stay home / lockdown right now.. So I understand it maybe a sometime for anyone to have a hour or 2.. .. Having said that - I am a Registered Nurse - not working in this Cornavirus stuff.. So I can do whenever.

hi sandman, where abouts are you in SA? I'd be happy to lend a hand when this all blows over. In the meantime, Zoom/ Skype etc would be an option. I'm working from home, so afternoons are usually pretty open.
 
one is on its way. North Star isn't too far from where I'm at - just outside the 1604 between Sea World and Helotes.
