I thought I'd post this here, since this device I made is specific to a Rong Fu mill issue.
I was tired of fiddling with the standard arm that comes with dial indicators and bases, or using a flexible arm (the one with one knob to tighten it). So... I made a device that was specifically for making sure the head stayed on target as it was raised and lowered.
I had an extra base and indicator, the other parts are scrap pieces and hardware I had laying around. The hardware is all 1/4-20 SHCS, so it uses the same hex driver. I only have to raise or lower the arm if the height is really low or really high.
