Southbend Fourteen tool room lathe - good deal or no?

Southbend 14 tool room lathe on Craigslist

It has 3 and 4 jaw chucks, steady and follower rests, some sort of collet chuck, drill chucks, looks to be in good shape. I will be going through Reno on Monday of next week. Looking at a recent auction, the same lathe in similar condition sold for $2800. So I think this is priced somewhat too high, but don't know for sure.

You don't mention of the price of the pictured lathe so hard to say if it's a good deal or not.

At $5K it seems on the high side.

I agree, seems high. Keep looking Tom, decent looking lathes turn up with fair regularity in the Reno area.
