Taking Apart my K&T Universal Milling Attachment.

I started taking apart my K&T Adjustable Universal Milling Attachment. At the time, I had no drawings to go by, so a lot of this was just guessing on how it comes apart. I have since found an exploded parts diagram, with a few minor inconsistencies.

I will have to remake the splined drive shaft, it is heavily worn, plus I think most of the bearings are shot.

 
If you must use a pipe wrench on a machine nut and don't want to bugger it up. First wrap the nut with a thin piece of aluminum (flashing works well) or any sheetmetal you can get around it, then use the wrench.
 
I mentioned I am impatient, right? LOL! Yes, you are 100% correct. Sometimes I forget to just stop and think.
 
I haven't kept this thread up to date, but here's some progress on this milling head.
