The start of my obsession

I’m a sucker for old iron too.
This is my Davis & Wells 6”jointer, Ser.#528 from mid 1940s.
It has a 62” bed. And is all cast iron, & very heavy.
I’ll probably clean it up & paint it this summer, but I’m too busy using it for now.
And besides, it’s earned that rustic appearance.
I put it on wheels so I can move it outside to use it, don’t want those wood chips all over the mill & lathe etc, etc.
