Thinking about a VN 12

A friend has a VN 12 in great shape he is thinking about selling. Its a lot more ridge than my current bench mill. I like what I am reading about them so far but I have a question. How do you drill with one? I don't see a quill feed.

1. Install a BP head J or M on one
2. Use a drill press to drill.

There is no quill.

Also, in the Downloads section on here, there is a lot of VN 12 information and manuals, including some I scanned in.
