Ok, Here is what I set out to build.
And here is what I have so far.
I made a tripanning tool. I think I should make it thinner. But it worked.
Made a couple nuts and washers.
First time threading from the chuck out. I had two much stick out the first time and too big a cut on the first one. It caught and walked up on top of the tool.
I made two bases as my wife wants one also. The one on the right is the left-over stock from making the rings.
This is how I started; it was working pretty well but I was turning down the corners and went in too fast and cube caught the tool and ripped the cube out of the chuck and bent the support tube thing. It was still working but I couldn't get it centered after that. I wish I would have taken a photo of the failure. Luckly, only very minor damage that I was able to repair or remove enough so you can't see it.
Here is how I finished the cube. I think I'm going to make the next one on the mill. Then would it be called a Millers Cube? LOL
And the finished Cube!
Decided to try a different setup to thread with, still in reverse. It worked great!
One of the pivot screws.
That's it for now. Thanks for looking.
