Using Quadrature Encoders with Capacitive Scale TouchDRO Adapters

I have a PM932 with TouchDRO for Igaging scales and Shars capacitive scales and they are living up to there reputation. So I ordered 2 Ditron DC10F glass scales to put on the X and Y. And according to the documentation on the Touch DRO page is says that I can use this adapter with quadrature scales, if I use a logic level shifter to shift the 5V to the 3.3v
I ordered a Polou #2595 Logic level shifter. The documentation says that I need a 5v and 3.3V source and I can pick up the 5V on the TouchDRO board. So my question is, can I pick up the 3.3V from the Probe or Tach 3.3v port?

Tim,
It depends on which adapter you have (and firmware version). Given the title of the post, I suspect you found this: Using Quadrature Encoders with Capacitive Scale TouchDRO Adapters.
You can grab 3.3V from any of the Vcc pins (including the ones next to the micro-USB connectors.

Yes I bought the adapter from you about 4 or 5 months ago. And found the TouchDRO documentation about using glass scales.
So am pretty sure it's Rev 2.4
