Vise Stop

Well gang! Here is my rendition of a vise stop. When I got my mill it came with a Bridgeport vise. Not sure why the previous owner modified it, but he did. He machined a pad and a 3/8 tapped hole on either side of the base just behind the stationary jaw. I decided to take advantage of them and come up with this mechanism. So far it is just the ticket.

I have the same vise in 5" and the same holes 5/16 and a 1/4 on each side. Nicely done.

I like the design, might have to copy that.
A simple efficient design that looks good and is easy to move, adjust or take off , and not too fiddly.
