I woke up late and made my coffee too strong. Day is ruined.

Is shipping container better?

I have a 20’ double door (doors on both ends) that serves as storage and armor for my Kubota.

The armor part is due to heavy tree cover all around the back yard.

I don’t “think” any save for my largest tree would even come close to crushing it, so it serves as good protection from falling limbs or even trees.

A she’s back there would just be asking for a catastrophe.

Do you think a kubota l2501 can fit in there ??

You cannot go wrong with buying a shipping container. I bought a 40-footer in 1998 for $700 FOB. I've moved it several times over the years. It's in a storage yard now, I don't have a place on site, but it's cheaper rent than a storage unit. I wired it for 230v with lights, outlets, ventilation, the works. Served as a shop for a long time.

Hell I paid ~4K for a one trip double door, delivered, and even that was a bargain compared to other options.

Even got a tan one, I had to wait but blue or red would not match the decor.

Yeah, it was a real good deal even then. I found a trucker to haul it from San Francisco to Reno for $500, but the sumbich dropped it in my front yard and took off instead of backing it into the freshly graded and roller compacted spot I wanted it in. Cash in advance was my mistake. Used a container moving service from that point on, that's been fantastic. I didn't get to choose the color, so faded burgundy it's been. It's keeping the dust off my Pontiac and a few other things until I can make more space in the shop.

I was thinking about one but I have trees around and no way I can drive one behind the house. Is there any way to move one without using a crane or truck to maneuver it. Not planning on getting one now but it would be a good knowledge for later

I’ve seen guys make bogie wheels that slide into the forklift slots on the sides.

Just a close fitting piece of box or channel with spindles and all thread to snug them through the channel to the sides.

Then it’s just hitch it to whatever and move it like a trailer.
