A nice little saw for your shop

Can I assume it is a band saw?

That would be a full hydraulic horizontal twin post band saw for gang cutting.

I imagine it takes more than a few minutes to change that blade

Now I know what one needs (See thread, "in case you need a little more room in the shop") in a shop.

Jim reorganized his shop and got a brand-spanking new piece of equipment!
How neat is that?!
/me ducking for cover and headed to the nearest exit.

I knew a guy in Houston that bought one of these from a company that went under back in the late 1990's. The blade on it, I swear it was 3" wide and teeth spaced about 1/2" apart. He said it would cut thru a 4" bar in about 3 minutes. Yikes! The capacity was like 30" round or 36 x 30 rectangle! Nothing unusual for him to cut something 16" in diameter solid.

I don't believe we want to know what a replacement blade costs... oh heck - sure we do!
