The other day, while still waiting on new belts for my lathe, I decided to do some work on the rainy day projects.
One of which is to fix my DTI. It’s not really broken per say, just the indicator has always been bent by a few thenths.
It’s manageable, but I’d like it to be straight, and maybe change/modify out the scale behind it.
I tried getting at it thru the side/bottom, but there is nothing there aside from the wrong end of a few screws holding it onto the body.
Any thoughts on how to remove the glass without breaking anything?
Thanks,
Brad
