What color for Rockwell bandsaw?

I have recently acquired a Rockwell 28-290 14" bandsaw. What is the closest rattle can color to the grayish blue? I could get auto paint as well, but I'd need to know the color code or Pantone color, since I'm not sure they have a reference for Rockwell or Delta. Though, they did have one for Craftsman red... The saw has been sitting outside and has nowhere the paint is as it was when new.

How would I tell what year the saw was made? This would help narrow down the paint choices, since Rockwell/Delta apparently used different grays over the years. I would prefer the bluish gray they used.

I've done some surfing/research and found lots of choices:

so I had sherwin williams mix up the paint for my SB9.. that paint is showing wear. All other machines have used Rustoleum.. They are all doing much better. Just saying

I've used Rustoleum for years on my machines. It does hold up good. Especially for the price. I use my stuff. There are no museum pieces in my shop.
 
I just got a quart of Rustoleum charcoal gray to paint my old drill press. It's a good bit darker than the smoke gray if that's what you're looking for.
 
I emailed Delta. They just told me to get it color matched since the paint colors have changed over the years. I specifically asked for the closest rattle-can color, too.

I was hoping to get the bluish gray color. But, based on what I've read so far, it looks like I might go with the Smoke Gray Rustoleum.
 
put the primer on before hand. You'll be glad you did. It sands nicely, and will give you a good finish.
 
Rustolium has a Gloss Deep Slate that is a darkish blue / grey, about the same as charcoal grey but with some blue.

Not quite sure of the color you are after, most of the Delta tools I've seen are a kind of a light grey.
 
Is there anywhere that two pieces are bolted together that may hide the original color? Or under a bolt head or tag or something?
