OEMs sometimes have special switches made- I can advise you on buying a replacement tomorrow

This switch would do the job- would require some jumpers added. Probably different than your OEM switch
but is a generic garden-variety that can be easily purchased:

This should work for the Amazon unit: --- 120 volts AC operation- 7 jumper wires needed
The Xs signify an internal connect; three columns = forward, center off, reverse
For example: In forward 1 and 2 connect. In reverse 3 and 4 connect. And so on
Swap U1 and U2 if motor rotation doesn't match switch handle

Thank you Mark! I got the switch in today and your schematic worked perfectly. Everything is running great.

Now my next question is how did you come up with this? I am sure it comes from tons of experience but maybe can you direct me to a resource or two where I might get a start learning about this good stuff. Thanks again for all your help.

I've been into it for a while (just turned 69) but there is lots of online info for you to discover
