I just acquired a DURO drill press that looks to be vintage from the 1940's/1950's.

It runs(!) but is pretty loud and seems like it needs a tune up or restoration work.

I'm looking on some advice on where best to start with my efforts. Take apart and clean motor? Remove rust from parts that are noticeably corroded? Lube up moving parts?

I'm also not sure which parts on a drill press need GREASE and which parts need OIL.

Any advice would be appreciated.
